9.5 Dispatch — pilot edition, updated October 2026.
WHO RUNS IT
9.5 Dispatch is run by Jose Vega, a former driver, in Washington State, USA. It is independent: not made, endorsed or approved by any employer or union. Questions or requests: nineivedispatch.support@gmail.com, or talk to Jose or your steward directly.
WHAT WE COLLECT
- Your sign-in email, and the name you go by.
- The morning board: routes, stops, packages and miles, the names printed on it, and any numbers you type or correct.
- Your day: clock-in and clock-out, lunch, paid breaks, the numbers you actually ran, and your 9.5 grievance record (filed, settled, paid).
- Board photos, with the names printed on the board: when you press READ THE BOARD, they go to Anthropic's AI to be read. The first time, the app asks you before anything is sent. We don't keep the photo, only a fingerprint of it (not the photo itself) for up to a year, to catch the same photo sent twice. Anthropic deletes it within 30 days (longer only if its safety systems flag it) and doesn't use it to train its AI.
- Server logs: your IP address and device type with each request, kept about 30 days to run and protect the service.
There's no public list of users. No location, no contacts, no ads, no tracking.
KEPT ONLY ON YOUR PHONE
Your settings (usual start, lunch, break reminders), your 9.5 eligibility answers, and your filing profile (phone, address, Employee ID) stay on your phone and never reach our server. Signing out or deleting your account does not erase them yet: use CLEAR in Settings, or remove the app.
WHO SEES WHAT
Board numbers are as public as the board on the wall — visible to onboarded drivers of your center only. Other drivers' names show only after you've scanned this center's board yourself. Your name shows next to the board numbers you type or correct. Privacy begins at clock-out: your hours, lunches, and 9.5 record are yours; no other driver can see them. Jose, who runs the app, can see account records (names, sign-in emails, scans and clock-outs) to fix problems and keep the service running. He never shares them. Any future cross-driver statistic is suppressed below a five-driver minimum. There is no management access, no ads, and no sale of data — ever.
FILING A 9.5 GRIEVANCE
FILE opens your local's online grievance form (JotForm) in your phone's browser, already filled in with your name, email, phone, address, Employee ID, and the week's days, routes and hours. JotForm receives those details as soon as the form opens, before you press its submit button. The union gets the form only when you submit it. Nothing goes to the union unless you file.
DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT
Settings → Delete account. Right away, your sign-in email and every login are destroyed, and nobody can sign in as you again. What stays: your name and the work records you made (board numbers, hours, grievance record). Grievance records are deleted 400 days after their week. To ask for the rest to be removed too, email us. Backups roll off within about 8 days.
SERVICES WE STAND ON
Servers and database: Google Cloud (US). Sign-in emails, and alerts to Jose: Resend. Board-photo reading: Anthropic, an AI company (it receives the photo only, never your email or account). App updates: Expo (it receives a random ID for your install and, after a crash, the crash message). The grievance form: JotForm, when you tap FILE. Each of these services is bound by its own terms to protect your data at least as well as this policy does. We share nothing for advertising.
